Meet Willow
Willow is a 3-year-old Quarter horse mare with the sweetest soul and the resiliency of a Willow Tree, hence her name. Unfortunately, up until just a few months ago, Willow was severely neglected and malnourished; her hooves had never been trimmed, and their overgrowth during her formative years has caused a lot of complications for her overall conformation and body condition. Willow has a long road ahead of her with specialized and frequent trims with our farrier as well as lots of help from our vet. We still do not know the full extent of the damage throughout her body; that takes funds- consistent and continual funds- that's where our community comes in. Willow's Story
This is the day Willow was found by her new owners, who inherited her through purchasing the property she was on. She was emaciated; her back hooves had grown up to the point of curling, and the new owners were unable to get her up without assistance.
