Are you a spook seeker or looking for a family-friendly event, because we have both!
Shoofly Farm is excited to be hosting our 3rd Annual Haunted Hayrides and Spookfest. All proceeds from this event benefit Shoofly's non-profit Ranshaw Ranch, a certified 501c3 horse rescue. You can have a great time while helping to support a local charity!
Haunted Hayride - $20 per person
may not be suitable for younger children, ride at your own risk
This old farm was established in 1879 and carries with it an unsettling past. Explore our barn on a self-guided tour to learn about Shoofly's haunted history before one of our guides takes you over to climb aboard a 15-minute hayride through the eerie and disturbing 50-acre woods of Shoofly. This hayride has unique experiences you will NOT get anywhere else!
Not interested in riding through our haunted forest? Kick back and enjoy some food vendors, music, or roast some smores around our fire pit on the farm's main property while you wait for the more adventurous members of your party to return...hopefully.
Gates open at 7 pm
Hayrides begin at 7:30 pm and run through 11:00 pm

Shoofly Spookfest - $10 per person
Children 2 and under are FREE
Looking for a less spooky experience? Join us for Shoofly's Spookfest. Admission includes our Hayride through the forest to see all of the props in the daylight. No devices, audio, or scare staff will be running or present, think of it as a quiet hayride with some Halloween decorations.
Back at the farm, experience our popular petting pasture and interact with goats, pigs, chickens, and horses. Play in our mini-corn pits. Or enjoy a short train ride (riders 50lbs or less) Bring your pole and bait because our pond is open for fishing (catch and release only)
Come in costume and trick or treat and shop with our independent vendors, offering an array of products and services.
Clim aboard our Hayride and watch some of our Shoofly horses and riders showcase beautiful gaits and speed along the backside of our hayride trail.
Spookfest will run from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays
October 7th, 14th, 21st and, 28th

Special Offerings
Take advantage of opening weekend on Friday, October 6th and Saturday the 7th with discounted tickets, - $10 per person
These are our NO JUMP SCARE NIGHTS
meant for our low to medium thrill seekers who do not want interaction or sudden scares with live actors.
You can climb aboard our haunted hayride through our creepy forest but with no jump scares, wailing, screaming, or goblins out for you. It remains disturbing however it is a nice fit for those wanting less thrill in their ride or to test their thrill level as we enter the haunt season! If you enjoyed your hayride and think you can handle more you will have 3 weekends to come try our full-throttle hayride.

Interested in volunteering for the Hayrides or Spookfest? Fill out the form below!
We are looking for volunteers to help in set up and take down props. We need costumes sewers, makeup artists, scarers, parking attendants, and security detail. Volunteers do NOT have to commit to all four nights or both Saturdays but the more days the better. In your message include how you can help and what days. Thank you!
